Carver Elementary School

Carver Elementary has an old and proud tradition. Students in Pre-Kindergarten to fourth grade are attending a fairly new campus. The old campus dates to 1800's and so the name of Carver Elementary has historic ties to Mount Olive.

Beliefs

The Carver staff believes all students and parents must be accountable, responsible, and involved.

 

The Carver staff believes there must be high expectations for students, parents, and staff.

 

The Carver staff believes that every child deserves to be instructed by well-prepared teachers using appropriate strategies to meet each child’s needs.

The Carver staff believes all children can learn and experience success.

 

The Carver staff believes there must be zero tolerance for violence in order to provide a safe, orderly environment.

 

The Carver staff believes there must be fair treatment for all.

 

 

Mission Statement

The mission of Carver Elementary School in the 21st Century is to prepare a culturally diverse student population to be responsible, successful learners. We will accomplish this by maintaining and encouraging parent involvement, providing a professional staff, a meaningful and challenging curriculum, high expectations, and a safe, orderly environment.

 

 

Carver Elementary School will produce globally competitive students, who will be healthy and responsible. Carver will be led by 21st Century professionals with leadership that will guide innovation and be governed and supported by 21st Century systems.
