Mrs. Holland
Hello Everyone,
I hope you have had a wonderful summer!  I am very excited about this school year.  This is my eighth year teaching at Carver, and I love it here, it is truly my second home!!  I believe that learning should be fun and exciting for both the students and their parents.  I feel that parents and teachers working as a team will make their child a successful fourth grader.  I will provide the tools to keep the children and parents informed of all that goes on in my classroom.  I feel that home involvement through homework, and nightly reading is very important for each student.  It allows them special time with parents and gives them an opportunity to share their school day.
I love this area, and my family and I have lived in Mount Olive for over 20 years.  My husband, Billy, and I have been married for 27 years; we have 3 beautiful children:  Michael is 25 and  serves in the Army National Guard, and he and wife Meagan have been married for almost 2 years!!   Courtney is 21 and is in her  senior year at U.N.C at Wilmington. Her major is biology; she wants to be a Doctor!  Matthew is 18; he is a also a senior this year at Southern Wayne High School , he is a top student, and is a member of the Southern  Wayne baseball team. We also have a very cute puppy, Buster.
